Queen Elizabeth’s Global Schools are inspired by the legacy of Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet, one of the United Kingdom’s most successful grammar schools. Founded by royal charter in 1573, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Barnet has, for over four and a half centuries, stood as a symbol of academic distinction, leadership and moral integrity.
From its early beginnings in Elizabethan England to its current standing as a nationally recognised centre of excellence, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Barnet has always sought to combine high academic achievement with character development, preparing its students to contribute meaningfully to society.
Global vision inspired by a storied past
Queen Elizabeth’s Global Schools carry forward this rich heritage into new international settings. Global Education (GEDU) has established these branch schools in partnership with Queen Elizabeth’s School to extend its core values and educational ethos to diverse communities around the world, beginning with campuses in India and the United Arab Emirates.
This expansion reflects a shared belief in the power of a values-driven education, which prepares students to succeed not only academically, but also to excel as confident, able, responsible global citizens.
