Our CEO, Caroline Pendleton-Nash, spent several days at Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet—the founding school and guiding inspiration behind Queen Elizabeth’s Global Schools.
The visit offered an incredible opportunity to connect with the school community and experience first-hand what makes QE Barnet so exceptional. Caroline met with students, teachers, senior leaders, and alumni, gaining valuable insight into the rich educational traditions and innovative programmes that have shaped the school’s outstanding reputation.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted and named Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year 2024, QE Barnet stands as a benchmark of academic excellence, strong values, and personal development. During the visit, Caroline explored classrooms, observed enrichment activities, and took time to understand the systems, structures, and ethos that continue to deliver such impressive outcomes.
“This visit reaffirmed the enduring strength of tradition, academic rigour, and a school community steeped in the values that define British educational excellence.” Caroline shared. “It was inspiring to see how the school’s mission—to develop confident, able, and responsible students—is lived out every day. It’s this very mission that we are proud to carry forward into our new schools in the Middle East and Asia.
As we prepare to open our first international campuses, this visit reaffirmed our commitment to building schools that honour QE Barnet’s legacy while creating opportunities for students around the world to flourish.
